Joel Grant scored a late equaliser as they came from behind to draw to save a stage.
Grant struck 14 minutes from time to cancel out Eoin Doyles first-half opener.
Doyle made it until dinking the ball over the onrushing Michael Peck, after racing.
Grant levelled from the side of the box using a written finish to send the well-travelled Green Army .
Plymouth will truly feel that a share of the spoils were warranted, provided that the side of Ryan Lowe just about edged event from the next half.
Jose Baxter and zak Rudden both shot over the crossbar while Scott Wootton fired wide prior to the strike of Grant.
Rudden had the best chance in the first half of Plymouth, a second before the goal, when he shot directly in Steven Benda from close selection of Doyle.
For those hosts, substitute Kaiyne Woolery dragged a shot wide of the far post on.
