Justin Gatlin to return to training after injury scare

Despite suffering an injury scare, world 100m champion Justin Gatlin remains to defend his name.
Gatlin pulled up hurt whilst competing in Zagreb on Tuesday holding on his hamstring as he faded to finish fourth at the race at a period of 10.29 secs.
His supervisor Renaldo Nehemiah has stated he will go back to training within a week following tests proved negative on almost any harm to the people.
„He said he started to feel something grabbing, so that he promptly attempted to safeguard against any potential harm occurring,“ Nehemiah said.
Tests to Gatlin’s hamstring“revealed he still had 100 per cent power in the leg and also there were no adhesions or anything,“ Nehemiah added.
This had been the second time in a week the 37-year-old had slowed at a race when.
Gatlin, with the fourth quickest time over 100m this season together with 9.87 secs, finished fourth in the Zurich Diamond League closing on August 29. Three days later he returned to form, winning a 100m race at Switzerland in 9.97 seconds.
The American sprinter won Olympic gold at Athens in 2004 but served a ban for doping between 2010 and 2006. He returned to get a bronze medal in the Olympics in 2012 in London then went on to win silver medals at the world championships in 2013 and 2015.
