Ryder Cup 2020: Robert Karlsson named as European vice-captain

European Ryder Cup captain Padraig Harrington has named Robert Karlsson as his at Whistling Straits for the 2020 contest.
Karlsson represented Europe in Ryder Cups as a player, featuring in the record-breaking win at the K Club in 2006 prior to returning to play at the defeat Valhalla 2 decades later.
The Swede also worked together with Harrington as a portion of Thomas Bjorn’s backroom staff for the 2018 contest, where Europe ran out convincing 16.5-11.5 winners in Le Golf National.
Three points were enrolled by karlsson from his seven games for Europe and was beaten forming an unbeaten partnership and thrashing Justin Leonard in the singles in 2008.
The 49-year-old brings plenty of experience to the group that is European, previously won the European Tour’s Order of Merit and also having listed 11 Tour victories.
Qualification for Europe Ryder Cup team gets underway with the campaign, in the BMW PGA Championship.
Even the 2020 Ryder Cup takes place where Europe will soon be bidding register only their victory in the contest and to retain the trophy.
