„Will not be playing at the @NFL anymore these owners may cancel prices do whatever they need at anytime,“ said Brown, who had been also released by the Oakland Raiders earlier this season.
Brown, 31, is due to be paid $5m (#4m) of his $9m (#7.3m) Patriots signing up bonus on Monday, but NFL.com reports the franchise is not likely to pay up.
In the same way, the Raiders reportedly voided the almost $30m (Number 24m) guaranteed in Brown’s contract following fining him for misconduct and releasing him to the eve of the new year.
Though Brown is currently a free agent and therefore not suspended from the NFL, the league has said which were a team to sign him „depending on the condition of the investigation“that he could be blocked by playing being placed on the commissioner’s exempt list.
Based on ESPN, the expectation is no team is going to take a chance on signing him until the league’s investigation is concluded.
Brown was accused of rape by his personal trainer this month.
Britney Taylor, who decided to forgo anonymity, said Brown sexually assaulted her according to.
On Thursday, American magazine Sports Illustrated reported that a female performer who had previously accused Brown of unwanted sexual advances – denied by Brown – contacted the NFL to assert he had delivered her“threatening and menacing“ texts.
Brown signed a one-year deal with the Patriots on 7 September worth a documented #12.2m ($15m). Past Sunday, he also scored a touchdown against the Miami Dolphins.
Before connecting the Patriots, he had been released by the Oakland Raiders hours.
He departed having never played a competitive match for the franchise and had been fined the preceding day following a confrontation with all general manager Mike Mayock.
He became one of the NFL’s highest-paid wide receivers when he combined Oakland in the Pittsburgh Steelers in March, enrolling a three-year deal worth greater than $50m (#41m) each season.
Since being drafted by the Steelers having recorded over 1,000 receiving yards at the league in each of the six seasons and seven of his nine years, brown has been one of the league’s top receivers.
He has career regular-season totals of catches for 75 touchdowns and 11,263 yards and has also reached double figures for touchdowns on four occasions.
